T.A.T. – TEAM austriaguides TIROL

The TAT – Team austriaguides Tirol (previously ITF) is a community platform that facilitates the adequate and efficient representation of the interests and objectives of Tyrolean tourist guides to the public. Founded in 1991 by our colleague Gigi Schneider, it furthermore promotes and communicates the professional image of tourist guides as indispensable ambassadors of our region and as qualified contact persons for both the domestic and the foreign tourism industry.

COOPERATION WITH TOURIST FACILITIES THROUGHOUT THE TYROL

In cooperation with the cultural and tourist institutions of our region (and beyond), the T.A.T. also provides its members with continuous additional training opportunities at high and highest levels. This guarantees first-hand information, an indispensable prerequisite for the constant transfer of up-to-date knowledge with the greatest possible utility value for our guests and customers. This in turn retroactively benefits our region in general and our tourism partners and guests in particular.

In this sense, the TAT promotes quality tourism and is thus a guarantor for sustainable and future-oriented business in the tourism sector.

OVER 150 MEMBERS AND MORE THAN 20 LANGUAGES AVAILABLE

As an association and voluntary interest group, the TAT currently has more than 150 members and can arrange guided tours and excursions in over 20 languages.
